JUPITER AWARDED BEST AFRICAN ACT AT THE 2017 URBAN MUSIC AWARDS

Micheal Okai Mint known in showbiz as Jupiter has won the Best African Act in the just ended Urban Music Award held in London.

The DanceHall General was nominated alongside acts like Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, South Africa's very own, Casper Nyovest and a host of others. Being the only Ghanaian in his category, he managed to outwit his colleague musicians by being awarded the Best African Act.

The "enemies" hit maker has proven to Ghanaians and Africa that indeed his sobriquet, thus " D'Genenral" suits him.

The Urban Music Awards which was launched in 2003 seek to recognize the achievements of hardworking musicians from hip hop, soul to R&B genre. As it has done in previous years, this year was no exception as it marked its 15th edition.
